Hmm...
I noticed something last week that is occurring more and more frequently. Something I am totally unaccustomed to. Positive male attention. Men are being unusually nice and helpful towards me. I mean going out of their way, inconveniencing themselves to help me. I'm not sure if I should be happy that they are being so nice to a pregnant woman or I should be mad that this is what it takes for them to be this way. I decided that I will take it for as long as it lasts. It is just not something I am used to. Kind of sad that we aren't nicer to each other all the time.

Yeah, the attention is nice and help is nice but it's true, I didn't get much of that before! One of our students went out of his way yesterday to help me, which was so nice, but he kept referencing my pregnancy! Women have also been so much more helpful, too. It's kind of bad though because I have found myself expecting people to help so, if they don't offer, I get mad! Like at work yesterday, after I got back from all my drama, one of the older ladies here buzzed me and said "can you come to my office?" and she is known for being pretty lazy...I was like "NO, can you come to mine?!?!?!?"...of course, I didn't say that, I just told her I couldn't at the moment but I'd be by when I could.
It's kind of like the whole holiday season mentality; people are so much nicer right before Christmas but then it's all over with come January 2nd!!
I plan to take advantage of any extra attention/help/"niceness" I get...why not! We deserve it w/ all we are going through.
About your last post on bras....I've gone from a small 34B to a 34D already and wasn't looking forward to spending much money on temp bras. But I gave in and bought a $40 bra at Victoria Secret in nude that I figured would work for a few months. Then a few days later I went to Ross to look for some cheap maternity clothes and tried on a few of their bras...I found an awesome one- very cute and comfy for $3.99. I immediately returned the $40 one. Do you have the store Ross where you live? It's just like a TJ Maxx or Marshalls. I ended up finding three cute maternity tops all for 7 bucks or less/each and I plan to buy all of my bras there until this pregnancy is over.

It's interesting, isn't it? definitely something I'm not used to. I'm sure they won't be nearly as polite when they see me headed their direction with two kids in tow!
